Introducing New IPM Extension Educator Marissa Schuh

Marissa Schuh has joined University of Minnesota Extension as a horticulture IPM Extension Educator. 

In this role, she will work with produce growers and master gardeners to troubleshoot issues, as well as develop relevant, timely educational content and programming. 

She was previously a vegetable production educator with Michigan State University Extension. There, she worked with vegetable growers of all sizes on a wide range of insect, disease, nutritional, weed, food safety, and regulatory issues. She has a master’s degree in entomology from Michigan State University. Marissa is excited to meet Minnesota’s specialty crop growers and familiarize herself with their production strategies and issues.  She can be reached via email at mschuh@umn.edu or by phone at 612-460-7462.
